As a law enforcement professional in Florida, I have experienced the need and the benefits of having a traffic light box control cord. Whether working off-duty, on-duty or at a special event, the ability to operate a traffic light manually promotes safety for the motorists and most importantly the officer, deputy or trooper by keeping them out of the intersection. Other benefits when using a longer cord include allowing the officer to remain in their vehicle while operating the light, thus keeping them out of the rain, snow or heat.

As a young officer I immediately experienced the benefits of having a traffic cord and also discovered the difficulty of obtaining one. I borrowed cords belonging to other officers but found this to be highly inconvenient for both the other officer and myself. I also found that many officers would not let you borrow their cord out of fear of never seeing it again. So, I decided to find a way to make my own cords, to make them longer than typically available and with the best possible materials I could kind. I did my homework and successfully created my own traffic cords for my personal use. In doing so I also discovered that I really wanted to provide others with traffic cords so that they too could experience the benefits and safety associated with their use.
I take great pride in my work and I construct the cords out of the best possible materials available. I guarantee my products to be free from defect due to craftsmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. If the cord breaks or stops working due to neglect, accident, intentional damage or abuse then it is not covered. I can still fix it for you for the cost of the parts and labor. If the issue is due to craftsmanship I will fix it at no cost to you (minus shipping cost to me). Please contact me for further information.
